Unsupported Cabling Configurations for the Dell™ PowerVault™
MD3000 Storage Enclosure
The MD3000 documentation contains illustrations showing a server with a single SAS 5/E HBA in a
redundant configuration with two SAS cables connected to the array. These configurations, as shown in
Figure 1, are not supported at this time. Support for these configurations will be added in a later
MD3000 release.
NOTE:
For Dell PowerVault NX1950 storage systems only, the single-HBA host server configuration
(top illustration) in Figure 1 is supported.
