    The following MD1000 and MD3000 hardware configurations are supported only on Dell-qualified hardware. MD1000 Configurations Figure 1 shows typical hardware configurations for the PowerVault MD1000 enclosure. Figure 2 shows the maximum configuration in a single PERC5/E controller (3 enclosures per PERC5/E port in unified mode) with both parts connected.
  • Page 9 The configurations shown in Figure 3 are supported only on Linux operating systems. Windows support for these configurations will be added in a later MD3000 release. NOTE: For Dell PowerVault NX1950 storage systems only, the single-HBA host server configuration (top illustration) in Figure 1 is supported using Windows operating systems.
