Troubleshooting
Possible cause
The cooker is not properly closed.
The hob is not hot enough.
The hob is too small for the pressure
cooker.
The safety valve is jammed or the
relevant sealing is damaged.
Not enough liquid in the cooker.

Sealing ring is dirty, damaged or not
properly installed.
The cooker is not properly closed.

The cap nut on the bottom of the lid
is loose.
Wrong setting on the pressure

Solution
Close the cooker properly.
Select a higher setting on your hob.
Put the pressure cooker on a hob of
suitable size.
Clean or replace the parts accordingly.
Add more liquid.
Select a higher setting on your hob.
Check the sealing ring.
Close the cooker properly.
Select a smaller setting on your hob.
Tighten the nut. Also check the sealing
ring.
Move the pressure control further to the
MAX setting.
Stop cooking. Clean the pressure
control. Check the bottom of the lid for
foreign objects.
Replace the sealing ring.
Clean and check the pressure control
and the safety valve.
Check the sealing ring.
Check the screws.
Turn the lid upside down and unlock
the mechanism on the bottom of the
handle.
Release the pressure from the cooker.
