7.3 Incremental heating test

Proceed as follows during the incremental
heating test:
1. Open the valve fully by turning the white
protection cap approx. once and set the
black handwheel to the maximum set
value.
Control the flow temperature using
the heat generator control.
2. Heat up to a flow temperature between
20 °C and 25 °C for a minimum of 3 days.
3. Then heat at maximum design temperature
for a minimum of 4 days.
7.4 Cover plate featuring
thermostat with remote
control
1. After completing all building work, remove
the "Unibox T RTL" protection cover.
2. Remove the protection cap.
3. Screw the control piston (see Illustr. 2 on
page 27 (8)) onto the valve. Direct the
capillary downwards.
The capillary must not be kinked.
You can hang the cover plate with
the plastic strip on the venting
valve in order to aid mounting.
4. Position the valve insulation (see Illustr. 2
on page 27 (9)) on the "Unibox T RTL".
5. Position the cover plate on the "Unibox T
RTL".

Operation

Set the fluid temperature of the surface
temperature balance circuit on the handwheel
inside the "Unibox T RTL" (see 3.4.1 on page
28). Set the room temperature on the ther-
mostat with remote control.
