Bleed the Floor Jack

Air bubbles may enter into the hydraulic system and disturb proper function. In
this case it would be either difficult to lift up the floor jack or the floor jack will
abruptly lift up or down.
1. To bleed the hydraulic cylinder, close the release valve (6) completely.
2. Pump up the floor jack with the pumping handle (1).
3. Open the release valve (6) and slowly press the saddle (4) completely down.
4. Close the release valve (6).
After this the floor jack should work easily and correctly. If the floor jack does not
work correctly, repeat the bleed process.

Lifting the Vehicle

1. If the release valve (6) is opened, close it by inserting the pumping handle on
the valve and turning clockwise as far as it will go.
2. Make sure the vehicle cannot roll. Place the floor jack centrally under the
vehicle lifting point. Lift up the saddle of the floor jack by using the pumping
handle.
3. Place the saddle under the intended vehicle lifting point. For further informa-
tion, read the vehicle handbook.
4. Insert the pumping handle into the handle socket (1) and make a ¼-turn in
order to lock the handle.
5. Pump up the floor jack by using the pumping handle and pump one to three
times until the saddle (4) is secured in the central position of the vehicle lifting
point. Lift the vehicle up to the desired working height.
6. Immediately secure the lifted vehicle with blocks. Never work under the
vehicle if it is lifted up by the floor jack only. During work, observe the saddle
(4) and the vehicle lifting point in order to recognize any movements.
