DUST COLLECTION

This bandsaw comes with a versatile dust chute (A) Fig.26 which accepts 2", 3"
and 4" dust collection hoses.
Note: Wood dust and chips in a confined area can give rise to fire or an
explosion. keep ignition sources away from Bandsaw. keep saw dust to a
minimum by cleaning the inside of the Bandsaw after every use.
CIRLE CUTTER
Before attempting to make a circle cutting operation using the supplied circle
cutting attachment, to obtain satisfactory results it is necessary to use a narrow
saw blade (1/8" or 3/16"). The maximum permissible circle diameter this
attachment can produce on this Bandsaw is 27-1/2".
1) Draw a perfect circle and a centre point on a workpiece. If the diameter is large,
cut off excess wood from you workpiece, this will prevent from coming into
contact with the frame of the Bandsaw.
2) Draw a cut line which touches the tangent of the circle drawn on your workpiece.
Using the rip fence as a guide, align blade with straight cut line and cut off the
excess as shown in Fig.27.
3) Remove the rip fence and miter gauge from the table top.
4) Place workpiece on table. Align circle cut line with blade. Lower the upper blade
guide assembly just above the workpiece.
5) Install the circle cutting attachment as described in the Assembly section of this
manual.
6) Position the centre pin (A) Fig.27 in line with the centre point of the workpiece
and tighten lock knobs to secure settings.
7) Turn on the Bandsaw and slowly rotate and feed the workpiece into the blade in
a clockwise direction.
MAINTENANCE
WARNINg! For your own safety, turn the switch "OFF", remove the safety key,
unplug the power cord from the power outlet before maintaining or lubricating your
Bandsaw.

brush or scrapped off with a piece of wood. Do not use a sharp knife or any type of solvent. When the tires become worn, they should be replaced.
