Manage SD card
Move photos, videos, music to SD card
To free up internal storage on your phone:
1.
Be sure you've

Open
the Files app.
Or, go to
Settings
3.
Touch Clean.
If there are media files to move, you'll see them listed.
4.
Touch Move to SD card.
5.
Select items to move.
6.
Touch Move.
Tip: You can set the camera to store all new photos and videos on the SD card.
Move apps to SD card
To move apps to your SD card:
1.
Make sure it is

Go to
Settings

Touch Storage.
4.
Touch CHANGE. If you don't see this option, the developer does not allow the app to be
stored on an SD card.
5.
Select your SD card, then touch Move.
Move apps from SD card to phone
When you install an SD card as internal storage, it is part of your phone. If you want change the
SD card to
portable storage
first move the apps from SD card storage to your phone's internal storage:
1.
Go to
Settings
2.
Select your SD card.
3.
Touch Apps.
4.
Select an app, then touch CHANGE > Internal shared storage.
