Upgrading from Windows 98 to Windows 2000

If EPSON TWAIN is already installed, you need to uninstall it,
upgrade the system to Windows 2000, and then re-install it, as
follows:
1. Uninstall EPSON TWAIN. See "Uninstalling EPSON
TWAIN" on page 6-19.
2. After uninstalling EPSON TWAIN, turn off the computer and
unplug the scanner, and then disconnect the scanner from the
computer.
3. Turn on the computer and install Windows 2000.
4. Connect the scanner and install EPSON TWAIN following the
instructions in your Startup Guide.

Uninstalling EPSON TWAIN

1. Connect the scanner to the computer. Plug in the scanner then
turn on the computer.
2. Click Start and point to Settings, then select Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Scanners and Cameras icon.
4. Select your scanner from the installed devices list, then click
Remove.
5. Click OK to close the dialog box.
