Top ventilation gap
The ventilation gap at the top of the
appliance can be constructed in
different ways:
a directly above the appliance with a
ventilation grille (free airflow of at
least 200 cm²).
b in between the housing unit and the
ceiling
c through a suspended ceiling.

Before installing the appliance
Take the accessory pack which
includes installation parts and other
accessories out of the appliance and
remove the packaging strap holding
the door in place.
Do not remove the following from
the back of the appliance:
– The spacers (depending on model).
These ensure the gap required
between the back of the appliance
and the wall is maintained.
– Depending on model, the pouches
located in the metal grille (heat
exchanger).
They are required for the correct
functioning of the appliance. The
contents are not poisonous or
dangerous.
Remove the cable clip from the back
of the appliance.
Check that all parts at the back of the
appliance are unhindered. Carefully
remove any hindrance.
