Unlatching the Seat

To access the hydraulic and other systems under the
seat, unlatch the seat and swing it forward.
1.
Use the seat-position-adjustment lever to slide
the seat all the way forward.
2.
Pull the seat latch forward and lift it up to unlatch
the seat
(Figure
56).

brake. Remove the key.
2.
Lift the seat.
3.
Rotate each bypass valve counterclockwise
1 turn
(Figure
57).
Note:
This allows hydraulic fluid to bypass the
pump, enabling the wheels to turn.
Important:
Do not rotate the bypass valves
more than 1 turn. This prevents valves from
coming out of the body and causing fluid to
run out.

Note:
Do not overtighten the bypass valves.
The machine does not drive unless the bypass valves
are turned inward.

Loading the Machine

Use extreme caution when loading units on trailers
or trucks. Use 1 full-width ramp that is wide enough
to extend beyond the rear tires instead of individual
ramps for each side of the unit
rear section of the frame of the machine extends back
between the rear wheels and serves as a stop for
tipping backward. Using a full-width ramp provides
a surface for the frame members to contact if the
unit starts to tip backward. If it is not possible to use
1 full-width ramp, use enough individual ramps to
simulate a full-width, continuous ramp.
The ramp should be long enough so that the angles
do not exceed 15 degrees
angle may cause mower components to get caught as
the unit moves from ramp to trailer or truck. Steeper
angles may also cause the unit to tip backward. If
loading on or near a slope, position the trailer or truck
so it is on the down side of the slope and the ramp
extends up the slope. This minimizes the ramp angle.
The trailer or truck should be as level as possible.
