4. REACH IN INTO THE PRINTER
For filament change and maintenance it is necessary to reach into the printer.
To avoid accidents, it may be necessary to secure the front cover. In this case, the fastest way to change the filament
is to reach out from below.
4.1 Reach in from below
•
Lower the build plate to allow sufficient space for your arm. (Axes menu, Z arrow downwards)
•
Disengage the motors, and move the extruders to the back / middle of the build area.
•
Reach in, and perform the necessary operation.
4.2 Reach in from the top
•
Remove the front cover.
•
Reach in, and perform the necessary operation.
