3. Install the Steam Control
IMPORTANT! The control should not be located directly above the steam outlet.
Locate the control 60" (152.4 cm) from the floor inside the steam room.
At the selected location drill a 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) hole.
Pull the control wire for the generator through the hole.
IMPORTANT! Do not pinch, nail, wedge or use undue force with the control cable. Any damage to the
control cable can result in control failure. If the control is not installed immediately, protect the end
connectors with tape or other shielding material.
Carefully plug the control from the generator and the wire from the control pad into the double end
female connector provided.
Turn on both water and power to the generator.
Test the control to ensure it functions properly (see the "Operating the Steam Control" section).
Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the back edge of the control and spread it
evenly across the back of the control.
Press the control firmly onto the wall.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the outside edge of the control following the sealant
manufacturer's instructions.
