2. Install the Steam Head
WARNING: Risk of scalding. The steam head is hot. The steam head should not be located near a seat
or bench.
IMPORTANT! Do not obstruct the steam line with any shut-off valves, plugs, or caps.
NOTE: The steam head assembly can be adjusted for a wall thickness of 3/16" (5 mm) to 1-1/2" (3.8 cm).
Adjust the wall thickness setting by setting the adjustment screws until the distance between the
back edge of the steam head and the top of each screw is equal to the wall thickness.
Position the gasket around the base of the housing so it is between the wall and the lip of the
housing.
Thread the steam head clockwise onto the steam housing assembly until it is hand-tight.
Back the steam head off, stopping when the aromatherapy well is located on top.
Push the housing through the installation hole from inside the shower.
Apply thread sealant tape to the nipple or elbow threads.
Attach the steam head housing to the elbow or nipple. An additional nipple may be needed for
some installations.
