Touch Screen Calibration

During first commissioning, the configuration applications "touch calibration"
and "Rexroth CE Settings" start automatically for comfortable configuration of
the Embedded Terminals IndraControl VEP **.4 with Windows Embedded CE
6.0 . For just delivered devices these settings are already done ex works.
All necessary settings of the IndraControl VEP **.4 devices with the
Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system, especially
the network settings are made via the "Rexroth CE Settings" con‐
figuration dialog . The Rexroth CE settings overwrite settings again
that were made directly in the control panel of Windows CE!
All settings made under Windows CE are saved in the Windows CE
registration database. Save any changes made via the "Save Reg‐
istry" tool in order to save the settings permanently in the registra‐
tion database. The "SaveRegistry.exe" application is filed in the
Windows directory.
If the "boot.boo" file in the root directory of the Compact Flash card
is deleted, the IndraControl VEP **.4 behaves like the first start of
the device after a restart. It may be required to force the first start
of the device if the device becomes inoperable, e.g. due to wrong
touch calibration.
For calibrating the display press sequentially each of the five calibration crosses
with a touch pen. After having actuated the last calibration point, it is indicated
if the calibration was successful. Then the Window user interface is displayed
automatically. If the calibration fails, restart the calibration. Start the calibration
via the "Touch Calibration" desktop icon or via the start menu. Start ▶ Programs
▶ Tools ▶ Touch Calib.
