Do not open the device and do not modify it. If the
device malfunctions or is damaged in any manner
please feel free to contact the Westfalia Customer
Service.
Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should be
kept away from children. The device is not a toy.
Dispose of packaging and worn out material correctly
and in an environmentally friendly way.
Never immerse the device into water.
Only pass on the device with the operation manual
included.
Functionality
The Ultrasonic Marten Repeller generates an acoustic
signal with a frequency of 23 kHz in intervals. This ultra
high frequency is sensed by the martens as perturbing
and nasty, so that they flee from the corresponding
vehicle.
Assembly
The Ultrasonic Marten Repeller can be fixed in the engine
compartment by means of self-tapping screws or cable
ties on the carriage. The connecting cable to the car
battery must be passed in that manner that it does not get
in contact with movable or hot parts (e.g. ventilating
wheel, exhaust manifold). The device should be installed
in the engine compartment in that manner that the
