• REMOTE SETTINGS: Setting which enables/disables the settings change via remote communication.
• LOCAL CONTROL: Setting which enables/disables local control operations.
• REMOTE CONTROL: Setting which enables/disables remote control operations.
• UNIT NUMBER: When there are several devices connected to the same communication network each DFF is
identified by a unit number that serves to identify the messages directed to it. Range: 1 to 255.
• PASSWORD: The relay provides a password in order to prevent unauthorized personnel from communicating
remotely with the relay through the use of GE_LOCAL or DFFPC communications software. The password may
only be viewed through the relay display and it consists of a number between 0 and 99999. The introduced
password through GE_LOCAL or DFFPC must be identical to the relay password in order to permit the change of
settings and the control operations.
• TIMEOUT t: Maximum time between two consecutive synchronization commands received from the PC in order
not to produce "clock not set" alarm event. If no regular synchronization commands are to be received then enter
0 in this setting.
