Instant Storage

 Select a desired frequency in
the COMM mode, then press
and hold the [ SAVE ] key.
The MEMORY BOOK form
appears on the display, with
the channel name (tag), fre-
quency, group (GROUP1),
scan and position informa-
tion (if exists) already filled.
 To save the memory with
this information, press the
[SAVE] key.
Note:
The memory channel in
which the position informa-
tion is entered can be used
as a destination in the navi-
gation function.
 If you want to customize the information to be
stored, refer to the procedure below.
1. Press the [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] key to select the item, then
press the [ ENT ] key.
2. Input letters and/or numerics with the keypad
or the DIAL knob, or select a setting with the
[ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] key, then press the [ ENT ] key.

3. After all the inputs or changes have been done,
press the [ SAVE ] key, or select "SAVE" at the
bottom of the display with the [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] key, then
press the [ ENT ] key to store them into the memory.
 Press the [ BACk ] key to
cancel the changes or in-
puts.
Note:
You cannot store weather channels to the memory by
pressing the [ SAVE ] key during the WX mode.

Maintenance of the Memory

Adding new addresses, editing the stored information,
and deleting the stored addresses are allowed through
the SETUP mode.

SETUP menu screen.
