Removal
Make sure the ignition switch is in the
(Off) position.
Remove the seat.
1.
Remove the data link connector while

pressing the tab from the battery cover.
Remove the connector holder from the

battery cover.
Release the wire harnesses from the guide
4.
on the battery cover.
Remove the clips.
5.
Disconnect the negative - terminal from
6.
the battery.
Pull up the battery cover.
