ü Always mount auxiliary handle 2
and protective guard 3; never
use the tool without them
ü Be sure tool is switched off
when plugging in

DURING USE

ü Inrush currents cause short-time
voltage drops; under
unfavourable power supply
conditions, other equipment
may be affected (if the system
impedance of the power supply
is lower than 0,25 Ohm,
disturbances are unlikely to
occur)
ü Always keep the cord away from
moving parts of the tool; direct
the cord to the rear, away from
the tool
ü If the cord is damaged or cut
through while working, do not
touch the cord, but immediately
disconnect the plug; never use
the tool with a damaged cord
ü Keep hands away from rotating
accessories
ü When grinding metal, sparks are
generated; keep other persons
and combustible material from
work area
ü In case of electrical or
mechanical malfunction,
immediately switch off the tool
and disconnect the plug
ü In case the cutting disc is
blocked, resulting in jerking
forces on the tool, immediately
switch off the tool
ü In case of current interruption or
when the plug is accidentally
pulled out, unlock the on/off
switch immediately and put it in
the OFF-position in order to
prevent uncontrolled restarting
ü Do not apply so much pressure
on the tool that it comes to a
standstill

AFTER USE

ü Before you put down the tool,
switch off the motor and ensure
that all moving parts have come
to a complete standstill
ü After switching off the tool,
never stop the rotation of the
accessory by a lateral force
applied against it.
WHEN CONNECTING NEW 3-PIN
PLUG (U.K. ONLY):
ü Do not connect the blue (=
neutral) or brown (= live) wire in
the cord of this tool to the earth
terminal of the plug
ü If for any reason the old plug is
cut off the cord of this tool, it
must be disposed of safely and
not left unattended

ü Always keep tool and cord clean
(especially the ventilation slots)

Do not attempt to clean
ventilation slots by inserting pointed
objects through openings

Disconnect the plug before
cleaning

regulations; damage due to
normal wear and tear, overload
or improper handling will be
excluded from the guarantee

tool undismantled together with
proof of purchase to your dealer
