General safety regulations
The machine described in this manual has been
constructed in accordance with the EC Directive on
machines no. 89/392/EEC (Machinery Directive)
and subsequent modifications.
The person in charge of the machine is responsible
for complying with EEC directives and local
regulations with regard to the working environment
to ensure the health and safety of operatives.
Warning!
The machine may only be used by the authorized
operator.
Never carry out modifications, transformations or
applications on the machine which might impair its
safety.
Before switching on and starting up the machine,
check that its operation will not put anyone in
danger.
Never work in any way which may impair the
stability of the machine.
Caution!
Apart from the regulations envisaged, the person in
charge of the machine must inform the operators of
the rules which follow:
· The fixed or moving housings and safety devices
must always be left in place, correctly secured.
· If the housings are removed, or the safety devices
disconnected or short-circuited, for any reason,
they must be restored to working order before the
machine is put back into operation.
· Only use the machine in technically correct
conditions which conform to its intended use.
· Compliance with the intended use also requires
operation in accordance with the instructions for
use and
maintenance,
and
inspection and maintenance conditions.
· Use of the machine to suck up inflammable
and/or toxic liquids and dusts is absolutely
forbidden.
· Touching the moving or hot parts of the machine
is hazardous and absolutely forbidden. If access
to these parts is absolutely necessary, first turn
off the machine.
Handling the machine in its packaging
The machine is delivered packed on a pallet. The
weight and dimensions are provided in the
Technical Data. The forks of the lift-truck or pallet
trolley must be positioned so that the centre of the
machine is halfway between them.
The pack must be hadled with great care, avoiding
knocks. Do not lift it unnecessarily or to excessive
heights. Packs may not be stacked.
Unpacking the machine
The machine must be unpacked carefully and gently. First
remove the staples connecting the bottom of the box to the
pallet and lift off the box. The machine will now be in view,
secured by brackets on the wheels, which must be removed.
The machine must now be brought to ground level using a
metal or wooden ramp
Handling the machine after unpacking
After unpacking, check the machine and fit the batteries, if
not already installed. If the machine has to be transported
short distances after use, disconnect the battery wires and
remove the brushes and squeegee blade. Before transporting
it over long distances, the machine should be returned to its
original packaging. The machine can be pushed short
distances.
Algemene veiligheidsnormen
De machine die in deze handleiding beschreven
wordt, is volgens de aanwijzingen en eventuele daarop
volgende veranderingen van de EEG normen 89/392
geconstrueerd. De persoon die verantwoordelijk is
voor de machine moet zich aan deze EEG en aan de
landelijk geldende normen houden wat betreft de
werkomgeving, dit om de veiligheid en de gezondheid
van de medewerkers te verzekeren.
De machine mag alleen gebruikt worden door een
bevoegde bediener. Geen veranderingen, wijzigingen
of extra's op de machine aanbrengen die de veiligheid
in gevaar kunnen brengen. Voordat u begint te
werken, controleren of er geen gevaar voor de
personen ontstaat. Nooit zodanig werken dat de
stabiliteit van de machine in gevaar komt.
Behalve over de wettelijk voorgeschreven normen,
moet degene die voor de machine verantwoordelijk is,
de bedieners inlichten over het volgende:

De vaste en/of bewegende beveiligingen moeten
altijd vast en op de juiste manier op hun plaats
blijven.
·
Mochten deze beveiligingen, om wat voor reden
dan
ook,
kortgesloten
efficiëntie getest worden voor de
opnieuw gebruikt wordt.
·
De machine alleen in goede technische staat
gebruiken conform aan het doel waar hij voor
gemaakt is.
·
Hiertoe behoren ook het lezen en in acht nemen
van de gebruiksaanwijzing en de aanwijzingen
the
specified
voor onderhoud alsook de onderhouds- en
controle werkzaamheden.
·
Het is absoluut verboden ontvlambare en/of
giftige stoffen op te zuigen.
·
Het is ten strengste verboden de bewegende delen
van de machine aan te raken; mocht de noodzaak
zich voordoen dan eerst de machine uitschakelen.
Het verplaatsen van de verpakte machine
De machine wordt op een pallet ingepakt aangeleverd.
Gewicht en afmetingen vindt u in de TECHNISCHE
KENMERKEN. De vork van de heftruck moet zo
geplaatst worden dat het midden van de verpakking
ongeveer in het midden van de vork komt te rusten.
Het geheel moet zeer voorzichtig verplaatst worden,
waarbij vermeden moet worden de machine te stoten
en tot grote hoogten op te heffen.
Het is verboden meerdere verpakkingen op elkaar te
zetten.
Aanwijzingen voor het uitpakken van de machine
Het uitpakken van de machine moet met aandacht en
overleg gebeuren. Als eerste verwijdert u de nieten
aan de onderzijde waarmee het karton aan het pallet
vastzit, hierna kunt u de doos weghalen. Nu ziet u de
machine die geblokkeerd wordt door beugels op de
wielen, deze beugels verwijderen. De machine dient
vervolgens naar de vloer gebracht te worden met
behulp van een metalen of houten afrit.
Het verplaatsen van de uitgepakte machine
De uitgepakte machine moet gecontroleerd worden en
de accu's moeten geplaatst worden als deze nog niet
geïnstalleerd zijn. Wanneer de machine na gebruik
over een korte afstand vervoerd moet worden, de
accukabels loshalen en borstels en vloerwisser
verwijderen, voor vervoer over grote afstanden kunt u
de machine het beste in de originele doos verpakken.
U kunt de machine kleine stukjes ook eenvoudig
duwen.

Normes générales de sécurité
La machine décrite dans le présent manuel a été construite
conformément à la Directive communautaire 89/392/CEE
(Directive machines) et à ses modifications. Le personnel
appelé à utiliser la machine a l'obligation de respecter les
normes européennes et autres réglementations nationales
applicables aux conditions de travail et à la sécurité des

Attention!
Seul le personnel autorisé à cet effet doit utiliser la
machine.
N'effectuer aucune modification, transformation ni
n'installer aucun accessoire ou autre susceptible de
compromettre la sécurité.
Avant de mettre en marche la machine, s'assurer que son
fonctionnement n'expose aucune personne à un
quelconque danger.
N'utiliser en aucun cas la machine d'une façon qui
compromettrait sa stabilité.

Outre les instructions prévues par la réglementation en
vigueur, le responsable de l'utilisation de la machine doit
veiller à ce que les opérateurs respectent les
recommandations suivantes en les informant à cet effet:

Les protections fixes et/ou mobiles doivent rester en
place, être correctement fixées et en bon état.

Dans le cas où des protections auraient été démontées,
désactivées ou court-circuitées, pour quelque raison
que ce soit, il est impératif de les replacer en condition
d'assurer leur fonction avant de remettre en marche la
machine.
·
N'utiliser la machine qu'à condition qu'elle soit en
parfait état de marche et uniquement pour l'usage
prévu.
·
L'utilisation correcte de la machine prévoit également
le respect des instructions d'utilisation et d'entretien,
de même que les respect des contrôles et du
programme d'entretien.
·
Il est rigoureusement interdit d'utiliser la machine
pour aspirer des substances toxiques et/ou
inflammables.
Durant le fonctionnement de la machine, il est
·
rigoureusement interdit de toucher les parties en
mouvement; dans le cas où il serait nécessaire
d'intervenir sur ces mêmes parties, arrêter la machine.
Déplacement de la machine emballée
La machine est livrée emballée, sur palette.
Le poids et les dimensions de la machine figurent dans la
liste des CARACTÉRISTIQUES TECHNIQUES.
Les fourches du chariot élévateur ou du transpalette
doivent être positionnées de telle sorte que le centre de
l'emballage se trouve approximativement au centre des
fourches. L'emballage doit être déplacé avec précaution,
veiller à éviter les chocs et ne pas soulever l'emballage à
une hauteur dangereuse.
Éviter de superposer les emballages..
Recommandations pour le déballage de la machine
Le déballage de la machine doit être effectué avec
précaution. Retirer avant tout les agrafes de fixation du
carton à la palette (à la base du carton), puis soulever le
carton. Débarrassée du carton, la machine reste fixée à
l'aide de brides présentes au niveau des roues, ces mêmes
brides doivent être retirées. Il est ensuite nécessaire de
poser la machine à terre; utiliser à cet effet une rampe
métallique ou bien en bois.
Déplacement de la machine déballée
Après déballage, la machine doit être contrôlée. Au besoin, procéder
également à l'installation des batteries. Dans le cas où il serait
nécessaire de transporter la machine sur une courte distance après
qu'elle ait été utilisée, débrancher les câbles de batteries et retirer
brosses et raclettes. Il est éventuellement possible de pousser la
machine pour la déplacer sur de courtes distances.
