• FEEDING BOTTLE: complete with ring and teat fit on the bottle without the cup.
• FOOD JAR: without lid and any labels.
WARNING: small jars and feeding bottles must be placed on the baby food jar/feeding
bottle support (b) before being inserted inside the main body (a).
Make sure that no water overflows from the top of the appliance; for small sized feeding bottles or
jars, check that the water does not reach the top or open mouth of the same.
If water overflows from the bottle warmer when the feeding bottle is placed inside the main body
(a), immediately use a dry cloth to dry the outside and base of the bottle warmer and the power
cord; then pour out the water in excess from the tank.
4. Check that the selector knob (d) is set to "O" (OFF) (d1) and plug it into a mains socket.
5. Select the warming mode by turning the selector knob (d):
a. LEFT: to warm feeding bottles - Feeding bottle mode (d2).
b. RIGHT: to warm baby food jars - Baby food jar mode (d3).
The red pilot light indicates that the appliance is warming up.
WARNING: It is recommended to stir the contents of baby food jars during the warm-up
cycle so that the temperature is even.
6. A few minutes*** after being switched ON, the green pilot light will come on and the appli-
ance will emit five short beeps to indicate that the warming cycle has been completed. It is
recommended to remove the bottle or baby food jar immediately to prevent the contents from
overheating. The baby food jar/feeding bottle support (b) can be lifted and hooked to the upper
rim of the appliance; this will make it safer to manage and prevent burns.
*** Warning: the warming cycle time and final temperature of the food can vary considerably,
depending on the type and size of the containers (plastic feeding bottles, glass feeding bottles,
jars ...) the amount of food being warmed, the starting temperature (ambient or fridge tem-
peratures...), the consistency of the mix and the type of electricity used to power the appliance
(home or car).
7. To switch off the bottle warmer, move the selector knob to the central 'O' (OFF) position (d1) and
disconnect the bottle warmer power cord (c) plug from the mains socket.
8. On removing the bottles and/or baby food jars from the main body of the bottle warmer (a),
dry them carefully.
WARNING: Before feeding your baby, always check the temperature of the contents is not
too hot.
If the food is not hot enough, put it back in the warmer and repeat the warming cycle. Check the
warming status at regular intervals, taking care not to burn yourself, until the required temperature
is reached.
IN PARTICULAR:
For feeding bottles:
- Shake the feeding bottle for a few seconds to ensure the temperature of the contents is even; then
check the temperature by squeezing a few drops onto the inside of your wrist.
For baby food jars:
– Stir the contents of the jar to make sure the temperature is even, then taste it to check it is not
too hot.
NB: If the content is warmed too much, the precious nutrients and vitamins contained in milk may
be destroyed.
