Reversing shift pattern
Clean desired thread 1.
Remove the screw 2.
Remove washer between ball
joint and gearshift lever.
Reposition gearshift rod 3 onto
desired thread 1.
Gearshift rod attachment
points on gearshift lever
Thread for outer pivot point
(Basic setting for both shift
patterns)
Thread for outer or inner pivot
point (Adjustment range for
both shift patterns)
Insert bolt 2 through ball
joint 4 and washer 5, install
in thread 1 and tighten to
specified torque.
Shift rod on gearshift
lever
Joint compound: Lubricate
thread, Optimoly TA
6 lb/ft (8 Nm)
Shifting is then setup for op-
eration with the standard shift
pattern.
Check and, if necessary, adjust
the gearshift lever height.
Adjust the gearshift lever
height ( 68).
