Steering head angle

Setting
The HP4 Race concept offers
the option of adjusting the steer-
ing head angle to five differ-
ent angles using different in-
serts. Special tools and additional
tools such as the engine jack or
safety stands on the frame and
footrests are required for this;
how to handle these tools is not
addressed further here. If you
are not sure whether this work
is within your skill range, please
contact a specialist workshop,
preferably a BMW Motorrad part-
ner.

NOTICE
The additional steering head an-
gle inserts are supplied without
bearing shells.
If steering head angle inserts
need to be exchanged, either
the existing bearing shells need
to be modified or an additional
steering head bearing set is re-
quired. The bearing shells can
be permanently installed in the
bearing shell inserts which means
it is possible to quickly change
the steering head angle.
