Setting the swing arm
pivot point
Park motorcycle, ensuring that
support surface is firm and
level.
Remove the engine spoiler
( 128).
Raise the motorcycle using an
engine jack or another suit-
able jack so that the rear wheel
swinging arm is relieved.
Support the rear wheel swing-
ing arm before removing the
swing axle and secure against
falling over.
Remove bolt 1 and loosen
pivot strut 2.
Remove nut 3 and washer 4.
Remove swing axle 5.
Remove bolts 6 and 7 insert 8.
Remove bolt 9 and insert 10.
