FM MAX Deviation Adjustment

 Press and hold in the [STEP/MCH], [C.S] and
[FINE] keys, while turning the radio ON, to en-
ter the alignment mode.
 Rotate the [FUNC] knob to select the alignment
parameter "3-195 FM DEV".
 Rotate the [MPVD] ring so that the parameter
indication "200".
 Rotate the [FUNC] knob to select the alignment
parameter "3-196 FM-N DEV".
 Rotate the [MPVD] ring so that the parameter
indication "100".
 Press and hold in the [FUNC] knob to save the
new setting and exit the alignment mode.

SWR Meter Adjustment

 Connect the 50-Ohm Dummy Load and Watt-
meter to the ANT Jack.
 Apply a 4.20 V (±0.05 V) DC voltage to pin 3 of
J4020 on the FINAL Unit, and 0.84 V (±0.05 V)
DC to pin 2 of J4020.
 Set the MIC GAIN to Minimum.
 Press and hold in the [STEP/MCH], [C.S] and
[FINE] keys, while turning the radio ON, to en-
ter the alignment mode.
 Rotate the [FUNC] knob to select the alignment
parameter "3-200 SWR-MTR CO 1.8".
 Rotate the [MPVD] ring so that the parameter
indication "128".
