OPERATION
WARNING! Do not use the twist socket nut extractors with an impact driver.
1.
Select the appropriate socket and place over the nut to be loosened and then
strike with a hammer to seat the nut extractor upon the nut. See figure 1.
2.
Use a manual socket wrench to loosen the nut by twisting in a counterclockwise
direction. See figure 2.
3.
Once the nut has been removed, it may become stuck in the socket nut extractor.
Use a straight piece of metal to insert into the socket to push the nut out of the
socket nut extractor.
STORAGE
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the steel
parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant before using the tool again.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
