• The use of non-original accessories can lead to damage and cause fire, electrical
shock or injury.

• Never allow the cable to hang over the edge of the table or the worktop (danger of
tripping) or touch hot surfaces.
• Before cleaning the device remove all detachable parts.
• The development of a slight smell during initial operation is no reason for concern.

5. Before first using this appliance

• The device is fitted with non-slip bases. Place the food processor on a level, sturdy
surface with sufficient space.
• Before starting the Miracle Chef the motor housing (10) must be closed. Press the
motor housing (10) down until it closes with an audible click and the release button (1)
is in the closed position
The KM-1700 S is equipped with overload protection, which automatically switches off in
the event of an overload. In this case turn the speed regulator control to position 0
and disconnect from mains. Leave the appliance to cool down for a while (around 15
min.). Plug the machine in again ready for use.
Avoid an overload again, e.g. caused by too much dough, and follow Point 6 "Using
the speed regulator" in the instruction manual.
Your new machine has a start delay function: When the speed regulator (2) is turned,
the machine starts with a slight delay of about one second, and then accelerates
until the desired speed is reached. In this way you can avoid an overload and
increase the lifetime of the appliance! (see also Chapter 6.6)

6. How to use this appliance

Filling the mixing bowl

The mixing bowl (3) can be filled outside the device or when it has been placed on the
food processor's attachment plate (7) and locked in place. Accessories such as the
kneading hook must not be mounted at this point. Please do not exceed the max. filling
capacities: cake mixture 2.5 kg; dough 1.0 kg.

Fixing the mixing bowl in place

• Make sure that the speed regulator (2) is
set to 0 (off).
• Press the motor head (10) down lightly.
• Hold the release lever (1) at the

until it can be heard to lock in place
• Place the bowl (3) onto the bayonet
attachment plate (7) in such a way that it is
level (heed the position of the recesses in
the bowl base and the attachment plate).
• Turn the bowl (3) in a clockwise direction
until it is firmly in place.
