Safety switches
The appliance is equipped with a safety
switch and can only be operated when
the mixing bowl and its lid or the output
attachment are seated properly on the
mixing bowl.
WARNING
► Before using each time, check the
function of the safety switch. Switch
on the appliance only with attached
mixing bowl for this purpose. If the
motor turns, the safety switch is
defective and the appliance may not
be used.

Operation and use

General instructions
■ You can achieve the best results if
you always chop smaller quantities at
once.
■ Cut food into small pieces. In the case
of larger quantities or large pieces, it is
possible that the ingredients are not
chopped uniformly.
■ In order to chop food evenly, switch off
the appliance occasionally and scrape
the ingredients off the sides with a
plastic scraper.
■ When processing heavy ingredients,
do not allow the motor to run for longer
that 20 seconds at a time.
Switching the appliance on and
off
The appliance is turned on and off via the
pushbutton (2).
Press the pushbutton (2) down.

The appliance runs at maximum
speed as long as the
pressed.
Pushing and releasing the

the motor.
