ROUBLESHOOTING THE
What to do when the Joey pump display shows these errors:
Press CONTINUE to go to the previous screen.
Press POWER DOWN to turn off the pump.

2. If this does not stop the alarm, check the Pump Loading Area.

Pump has been put on hold for 10 minutes.
1. Press continue to return to the previous screen.
2. Press Run to start the pump.
Pump tubing has come out of the Pump Set Loading Area.
1. Open door and check the tubing to make sure it is in place.
2. Correct the positioning of the tubing if needed
3. Close the door to check if the alarm is resolved.
4. If repositioning or reloading the tubing does not work, replace the tubing.
Press Power to turn the pump off.
Load a new set, prime it.
Press Power to turn pump on again.
Restart the feeding.
There is a block in the tubing between the pump and the patient.
1. Check the tubing and clear it of any blocks or kinks.
Clean any wetness or dirt.
3. If this does not stop the alarm, replace the tubing.
Press Power to turn the pump off.
Load a new set, prime it.
Press Power to turn pump on again.
Restart the feeding.
There is a problem with the feed being given:
1. The bag may be empty. Check to see if it needs to be refilled.
2. There may be a block in the tubing between the bag
and the pump.
Check the tubing and clear it of any blocks or kinks.
3. If this does not stop the alarm, replace the tubing.
Press Power to turn the pump off.
Load a new set, prime it.
Press Power to turn pump on again.
Restart the feeding.
The pump battery is low.
1. Plug the power cord in to the pump and the wall outlet.
2. There is about 15 minutes left on the battery when this alarm
3. 6 hours of recharging is needed to get the battery full again.
