Kangaroo Connect Enteral Feeding Pump
"Quick Start" Directions For Use
IMPORTANT:
•
Before powering on, please ensure that no cassette is inserted in the pump, this could trigger an error message.
•
Wait 3 minutes after pouring formula in bag before priming and running the pump.
•
Wipe down the inside of the downstream sensor with a clean damp cloth on a daily basis.

Setting up the pump:
1. Press the Power button.
2. Load set (insert from the bottom and snap into place).
3. Select Prime.

Priming the pump:
1. Select Prime mode.
2. If you selected Auto Prime, wait for pump to finish priming.
3. If you selected Hold to Prime, press and hold

1. Soft Keys - Press a key to select the option
that appears next to it on the screen.
2. Power Button - Press once to power on.

Press and hold to power off.
3. Power Source - Shines a green light when
the pump is connected to AC power.

= Notice or Caution Alarm
= Standby or Feeding

Prime Feed until fluid reaches end of tubing.

Starting a feeding:
1. Select Clear Settings.
2. Use the plus (+) and minus (-)
3. When ready to begin feeding, select Start.
4. To suspend the feeding, select Pause.
5. To resume feeding, select Continue.

Powering down the pump:
Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

Ensuring the correct fluid level:
Make sure the top of the fluid column is placed at 10 inches (25.4 cm) above the center of the pump rotor.
