Enter root as the user name and press the Enter key.
If a password has been set for the printer, enter the password.
If no password has been set, press the Enter key without entering a
password.
When you have logged in from the root, execute the following commands:
• File print: put <Print filename> PRINTER
• Rest network interface board: get reset
• Acquire initial settings: get defaults
• Acquire current settings: get config <Filename (current settings)>
• Set network interface board with file settings: put <Filename (file settings)>
CONFIG
• Update network interface board firmware: put <Firmware file name> FLASH
• Release FTP connection: close
• End FTP: quit
• Display command list: remotehelp
Important
To print a binary file created by a Windows printer driver, print in the binary mode.
Note
You can log in with spaces or with another user name other than root, but you can
perform only operations other than settings.
You cannot log in as "Anonymous".
