Starting ImageBrowser

You can start up ImageBrowser for OS 9 either from the icon or from the [Auto Run] dialog box
displayed when you connect the camera to your computer. If you will be using ImageBrowser
for OS X, see "Starting ImageBrowser Using the Icon" (➞M-58) and start up ImageBrowser.
Starting ImageBrowser from the [ImageBrowser
Automation wizard] Dialog Box
When you connect the camera to your computer, start up ImageBrowser from the
[ImageBrowser Automation wizard] dialog box.

Connect the camera to your computer. (➞M-8)

The [ImageBrowser Automation wizard] dialog box appears.

Confirm that [Display Images] radio button is selected and click
the [OK] button.

The [Communication Settings]
dialog box appears.

Confirm that [USB Port] is selected in the [Port] list box and that
[EOS 10D] is selected in the [Detected Camera] list box, then click
the [Set] button.

The Camera window and Browser
window appear.
The [Communication Settings]
dialog box only appears the first
time the camera is connected.
To set up the software so that ImageBrowser does not start up when you connect the
camera to your computer, see "Disabling ImageBrowser Auto Start" (➞M-60).
