Charger
● Always follow the instructions in the user manual and on the label of the battery charger.
● The charger should be handled with care.
● High voltage in the charger! DO NOT disassemble or replace parts of the charger.
● DO NOT connect the charger to the power outlet for a long time. Unplug from the power outlet when not charging.
Lubrication
Lubricate the chains about every two weeks with bicycle-specific chain lube.
Chain Tension and Adjustment
The correct chain tension: with 3.5 oz (100 g) pressure, there should be 0.6–1.0 in (15–25 mm) free play between the chains.
How to adjust:
Loosen the axle nut on both sides, then adjust the bolt. When the proper free play is achieved, tighten the axle nuts. Make sure
there is no abnormal noise and the wheels can turn freely.
Tightening torque: 12–14 N·m

WARNING / AVERTISSEMENT
As with all mechanical components, EPAC is subjected to wear and high stresses. Different materials and components may
react to wear or stress fatigue in different ways. If the design life of a component has been exceeded, it may suddenly fail,
possibly causing injuries to the rider. Any form of crack, scratches or change of coloring in highly stressed areas indicate that
the life of the component has been reached and it should be replaced.
