How to disconnect a gas cylinder
g) Except for twin-cylinder installations with a changeover valve, turn off the gas tap if fitted to
the appliance. Wait until the burner and pilot light have gone out. For installations with a
changeover valve, it is only necessary to switch off the empty cylinder.
h) Replace the orange safety cap onto the empty cylinder.

Makeasoapsolution
willneedaspraybottle,brush,or
leaktest,makesuretheL.P.cylinderis80%full.
TO TEST
1. Makesurethecontrolvalvesarein theOFF position,andturnonthegassupply.
2. Checkallconnectionsfromthe
theconnectiontothemanifoldpipe
bubbleswillappear where aleak ispresent.
3. Ifaleakispresent,immediatelyturnoffthegas supplyandtightentheleakyfittings.
4. Turnthegasbackonand recheck.
5. Shouldthegascontinuetoleakfromanyofthe fittings,turnoffthegassupply.
Install Regulator Hose
Do notusethegrill untilall connectionshave beencheckedanddonotleak.
ALWAYSCHECKFORLEAKSAFTEREVERY GAS TANKCHANGE
Checkallgassupplyfittingsforleaksbeforeeach
waterneartheshut-offvalveofthegassupplyline. Sprayallthefittings.Bubblesindicateleaks.
