4.5 LED Indicators

BMC LAN LEDs
A BMC-dedicated LAN (BMC_LAN1) is supported by the onboard Baseboard Management
controller. The amber LED on the right indicates activity, while the LED on the left indicates
the speed of the connection. Refer to the table below for more information.

Unit ID LED
A rear UID LED indicator (UID_LED1) is located next to the UID switch on the motherboard.
This UID indicator provides easy identification of a system unit that may need service.
BMC Heartbeat LED
A BMC Heartbeat LED is located at LED2 on the motherboard. When LED2 is blinking, the
BMC is functioning normally. Refer to the table below for more information.
