Configuration
Set the flush frequency and cycle time
8
Configure the sc controller to close the NO (normally open) contact of the relay on a
schedule.
When the NO (normally open) relay contact closes, power is supplied to the solenoid
valves and the water flow direction changes from normal flow to flush flow. Refer to
Figure 3
on page 7 for the normal flow pathway and the flush flow pathway.
Note: The correct flush cycle time and flush interval are dependent on the application conditions.
More frequent flushing is necessary for processes with high concentrations of solids or other fouling
material.
1. Push MENU.
2. Select sc200 Setup>Relay Setup.
3. Select the relay that is connected to the two solenoid valves (Relay A, B, C or D).
4. Select Source>sc200>Set Function>Scheduler to configure the NO relay contact to
close on a schedule.
5. Set the controller to hold the last measured turbidity value on the analog outputs
when the NO relay contact is closed as follows:
a. Select Set Transfer>Inactive.
b. Select Fail Safe>No.
c. Select Activation.
d. Select Hold Outputs>Set Outmode>Hold Outputs.
e. Select Set Channels>None. The measured value will be transmitted on a
4–20 mA loop.
6. Push BACK.
7. Select and configure each option to set the flush frequency and the cycle time.
Use the arrow keys to change a setting. Push BACK to select a different option.
