Congratulations on the purchase of your
Kinetico Water System.
Kinetico Canada Incorporated warrants its products to be free
from defects in material and workmanship. Any faulty part will
be replaced at no charge for the part if it falls within the
following time periods originating from the date of original
system installation.

What is Covered?

I. Kinetico Residential Water Conditioning
Systems, Aerators, Neutralizers, Upflow
Dechlorinators, CRS 1100 and Arsenic Guard
Systems.*
Ten years on all parts, including Macrolite

media, ion exchange resin**, and Kinetico by-pass
valves and prefilter assemblies, except as otherwise
noted below.
Ten years on the polyglass resin/media tanks and

regenerant storage tank.
Seven years on 2060f Sulfur Guard™

(*The AquaKinetic
under separate warranty.)
(**When oxidizing agents are present, the softener
must be a Kinetico Carbon Combination System or be
preceded by a Kinetico Dechlorination or CRS 1100
System. Additionally, the carbon or Sulfaban™ media in
these systems must be maintained and replaced
according to the system's operating instructions. If
these conditions are not met, the ion exchange resin is
not covered.)

II. Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station

A. Installed following a Kinetico Water Softener
(Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station feed water must first
pass through a Kinetico water softening system.)
Ten years on all parts, including reverse osmosis tank

and faucet.
Ten years on the reverse osmosis membrane

applied residentially are not covered by this warranty.

III. Other Warranted Products

Other Kinetico products, components and accessories

that are not specifically mentioned elsewhere in this
warranty [including, but not limited to, Drinking Water
Filters with MACguard
and pumps] and/or
distributed by Kinetico through authorized dealers, are
covered for a period of one year from date of
purchase. All replacement parts are covered for a
period of one year from the date of purchase.
Warranty under I, II and III does not include freight or labour
charges.

Who is Covered?

This product warranty is transferable by the original owner to a
subsequent owner. The only requirement is that the system must
remain at the site of original installation.

Extension of Warranty to a Subsequent Installation

The ORIGINAL OWNER may move the system to another
location. The influent water quality at the subsequent location
MUST, however, be within
specifications. Please contact a local authorized Kinetico dealer
prior to installation at another location.

Limits on this Warranty

Your system must be installed and operated in accordance with
Kinetico's recommendation and any applicable codes to receive
coverage under this warranty.
Additionally, this warranty does not cover products installed for
any application other than single family dwellings. The design of
the overall treatment system and the performance of your
system is related to the chemistry of the water being treated;
therefore, your system must only be maintained with parts
manufactured or distributed by Kinetico, including replacement
products and parts. Otherwise, this limited warranty is void.
This warranty does not include damage to your system due to
abuse, misuse, neglect, freezing, alterations, misapplication or a
change in the influent water characteristics.

Limited Warranty
for Residential Applications

For Water Conditioning Equipment

• Pressure: 80 psi for Aerator, 125 psi for all other water
conditioning equipment
• Min./Max. Operating Temperature: 2°C-48°C (35°F-120°F)
For Residential Drinking Water Filters and K5
Drinking Water Stations
• 0.1 ppm iron, 10 gpg hardness, 3000 ppm TDS+
• pH range: 3-11
• Min./Max. Operating Temperature: 2°C-38°C (35°F-100°F)
• Min./Max. Operating Pressure: (35-120 psi)++
® + For TDS levels above 1500, pressures should be >50 psi.
++ nitrate reduction: (40-120 psi)
Warranty on the reverse osmosis membrane does not include
damage caused by the failure of non-Kinetico equipment to
remove iron or hardness minerals.
Periodic replacement of filter cartridges and certain filter media
(such as carbon,
Sulfaban™) is part of the normal maintenance required by your
system. These replacements and media loss due to natural
attrition are not covered.
Additional operating parameters may apply and are listed in
your system owner's manual and/or installation instructions.
Your equipment must be installed and operated in accordance
with Kinetico's recommendations, and applicable province and
local codes for warranty to apply.

Registration and Service

To place your system under warranty, your authorized Kinetico
dealer must register your equipment with Kinetico Incorporated
within 30 days of the installation date. For service under this
warranty, contact your authorized Kinetico dealer. Retain your
receipt along with this warranty for reference if service is
necessary.
No Other Warranties
THERE IS NO
WARRANTIES,
MERCHANTABILITY
PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN
WARRANTY AND ARE EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED
BY LAW. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE
CONTAINED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL KINETICO BE
LIABLE FOR
DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR THE LOSS OF
USE OF THIS SYSTEM.

How Provincial Law Relates to the Warranty

Some provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damage, so the above limitations or exclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from
province to province.

Modification of the Warranty

Kinetico does not authorize any other person to assume for
Kinetico any other liability in connection with this product. The

dealer has no authority to make any representations on behalf of
Kinetico or to modify the terms of Kinetico's warranty in any
way.
