NOCIVI E TOSSICI :
Le operazioni di taglio e saldatura devono essere
effettuate in ambienti opportunamente areati.
Le emissioni su forma di gas, fumi insalubri e
fastidiosi o pericolosi per la salute del lavoratore
devono essere apirati al momento della loro
produzione, il più vicino possibile al luogo di
emissione ed il più efficacemente possibile.
I sensori di fumi devono essere collegati ad un
sistema d'aspirazione.

trasformarsi in gas tossici.
L'uso di questi solventi, quando non si trovano in un
ambiente stagno, deve essere vietato in presenza di
archi elettrici.
RUMORE:
Nel caso in cui le apparecchiature superino il livello
sonoro e la potenza acustica fissata dalla legislazione
vigente nel paese d'utilizzazione, l'operatore deve
seguire le norme di sicurezza vigenti sul sito di lavoro
per quel che riguarda le protezioni personali.

SAFETY AGAINST SMOKE, VAPORS, NOXIOUS
AND TOXIC GASES :
Arc welding work must be carried out in suiltably
ventilated areas.
Gaseous emissions, or fumes which are
insalubrious, disturbing or dangerous for the health
of workers must be collected progressively as they
are produced, as close as possible to their source of
emission and as efficiently as possible (Article
232-1-7, Decree 84-1093 of 7/12/84).
Fume collectors must be connected to an exhaust
system.

CHLORINATED SOLVENTS ARE A SPECIAL CASE
(THEY ARE USED FOR CLEANING OR REMOVING
GREASE) :
The vapors of these solvents, under the effect of
the radiation from an arc, even at a distance, can be
transformed into toxic gases.
The use of such solvents, other than in an enclosed
chamber, is thus prohibited in a place where electric
arcs spark over.
NOISE :
Should, because of some items of equipment, the
ambient sound level and the acoustical power
exceed the values stipulated by laws in a country,
the operator is to comply with the safety
instructions of his place of work by using individual
protective devices on his person.
