10. Care

It is recommended to use a soapy solution for
cleaning. The cleaning liquid should in any
case have a pH value of at least 6. Do not
use a cleaning agent which contains solvents.
Observe the instructions of the cleaning liquid
used. Use a damp cloth and lukewarm water
for cleaning. Avoid soaking. Do not use metal
brushes or any other sharp-edged or pointed
cleaning utensils. In the case of damage to
the varnish consult your specialist dealer.
Regular care would ensure that your swivel
seat is preserved in a perfectly functional
condition.
Clean plastic parts of your swivel seat with
commercial plastic cleaners. Only use a soft
brush or soft sponge. Examples of plastic
parts are the seat and backrest.

11. Disinfection

For sterilisation use only disinfectants suitable
for treating varnished metal and plastic
surfaces.
Observe the instructions of the
cleaning
liquid
used.

undertaken by trained persons. Consult your

12. Repairs / Service / Inspection

Lifetime of the swivel seat is influenced by its
use, storage, regular maintenance, servicing
and cleaning.
You should use only genuine VERMEIREN
replacement parts. Repairs and renovations
may only be undertaken by trained persons.
Make use of the services offered by your
specialist dealer. He would gladly assist you
further in regard to service and repairs.
Before you resume use of the seat, it should be
serviced according to the following criteria:
• Completeness
• Working of swivel mechanism
• Positioning screws
• Frames
(deformation,
connections)
• Cleaning
• Damaged varnish (remove possible rust
and repaint)
Every 8 weeks:
• Lubricating

greased)
Every 6 months or for every new user, it
should be serviced according to the
following criteria:

13. Shipping and storage

The shipping and storage of the swivel bath
transfer seat shall be according following
instructions:
• Store in a dry place (between +5° C and
+41° C).
• The relative humidity of the air should be
between 30% and 70%.
• Provide sufficient covering or packaging to
protect the product from rust and foreign
bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).
• The product must be stored without being
subjected to strains. (Do not put too heavy
parts
on
the
product,
between something, ...)

14. Warranty

24 months.

The warranty excludes damage arising from
structural changes to our products, insufficient
maintenance, defective or improper handling
or storage or the use of non-original parts.
Likewise, the warranty excludes parts or
working parts subject to natural wear and tear.

15. Disposal

When disposing of the swivel seat, contact
your local disposal centre or return the
product to your specialist dealer who, after
submitting it to a hygienic procedure, will be
able to send it back to the manufacturer who
will dispose of and recycle it correctly,
separating it into its component materials.
Packaging materials can be taken to disposal
or recycling centers or to your specialist
dealer.
