Installing the additional UI/UP PCB

Please observe ESD handling instructions when
working on open equipment. This information can
be found in EDIS under 'Bosch Test Equipment\Test
Equipment A-Z\General Information\Safety'.

The additional UI/UP PCB is integrated in the
CRI 800 trigger electronics of the CRI 846/CRI 846H
tester set. If you do not have the CRI 846/CRI 846H
tester set, you will have to order the trigger electro-
nics 1 687 023 369 (Special accessory). The CRI 800
trigger electronics are essential for testing the UI
and UP.
Procedure:
1. Remove the self-tapping screws (Fig. 1, Pos. 1) of
the cover (Fig. 1, Pos. 2).
2. Take off the cover (Fig. 1, Pos. 2).
3. Detach all connecting cables from the trigger PCB
(Fig. 1, Pos. 3).
4. Remove the fastening screw (Fig. 1, Pos. 4) and
washer (Fig. 1, Pos. 5).

5. Carefully remove the trigger PCB (Fig. 1, Pos. 3)
from the spacers.

6. Lay the trigger PCB on a suitable surface.
7. Insert four spacers (Fig. 3, Pos. 8) in the guide holes
in the trigger PCB.
8. Fix the additional UI/UP PCB (Fig. 3, Pos. 9) in place
on the spacers.
