Overheating Protection

This heater features an overheating protection that switches off the unit
automatically in case of overheating (for example, due to total or partial
obstruction of the air intake and the fan guard). In this case follow this procedure:
1. Unplug the heater.
2. Remove the obstructing objects.
3. Wait for approx. 60 minutes to cool down the unit.
4. Switch on the heater.

Cleaning and Storing

Before cleaning, first disconnect the plug from power mains. Do not pull the
cord to unplug from the wall socket but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
Do not wipe the ceramic heater with sharp detergents or aggressive
chemicals in order not to damage the surfaces.
Wipe the heater with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as needed. Do
not immerse it in water or any other liquid. Dry all parts well before storing.
Clean the air intake and the fan guard with a brush.
Never try to clean the interior of the heater. Do not open the unit.
Let the heater fully cool down before storing.
Make sure that liquids cannot enter the ventilation slots.
Store the heater in a dry place out of dust and dirt that is protected from
extreme temperatures.
