Operation
Plug the power plug into a grounded socket. The frost guard is now ready for use.
The unit is equipped with a steplessly variable thermostat:

1. To adjust the desired room temperature, turn the thermostat clockwise up to
the end and wait until the desired temperature has been reached.
2. Now turn the thermostat slowly back until the control light turns off. This
position of the thermostat corresponds to the desired temperature. As soon
as the room cools down, the frost guard will turn on again.

Overheating Protection

To prevent overheating, the built-in thermal overheating protection switches off
the frost guard. Overheating may occur if the unit is covered while operation, if the
frost guard is placed wrongly, the grille inside is dirty or if any objects are
obstructing the air flow.
1. Remove the causes and clean the frost guard with a vacuum cleaner, if
necessary.
2. Turn the thermostat up to the end counter clockwise to the symbol
pull the power plug.
3. First, allow the frost guard to cool down for at least 20 minutes. Insert the
power plug again into a grounded wall socket.

Cleaning and Storing

Unplug from power mains before cleaning the unit.
Only use a damp cloth.
Do not immerse the unit into liquids. Do not allow water to enter the interior of
the unit.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the
surfaces.
Allow the unit to cool down completely before storing it.
