Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
Please read this manual carefully and use the item only according to the
manual.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area corresponds to
the operating voltage stated on the type label.
Do not continue to use the unit if the unit or the line cord are damaged.
Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
Do not leave the unit unsupervised during operation.
Keep the unit out of the reach of children.
Do not expose the heater to water or moisture. Keep it away from
combustible materials.
Do not operate the heater in confined spaces, which do not provide enough
fresh air.
The heater is designed for indoor use in private households. Do not operate
the heater outdoors.
The heater must not be used in bathrooms, showers, pool facilities, laundry
rooms or in other similar indoor rooms. Never place the unit near bathtubs or
other water tanks.
The air intake and the fan guard of the heater must be clean and free from
foreign objects. Do not cover the unit. Otherwise the it will overheat!
Pull the power plug while the unit is not in operation or when cleaning the
unit.
This heater becomes hot as soon as it is operated. Avoid touching the hot
surface (fan guard and adjoining housing parts). Always use the handle to
move the unit.
