be used in perfect condition.
How to avoid material damage!
• Make sure you anchor the item completely
and adequately so that it is not damaged in
windy conditions.
• Avoid contact with sharp, hot or dangerous
objects.
• Make sure that the item is sufficiently high
from the garden soil or balcony floor. If it is
sufficiently high, the item can dry properly,
gets less dirty and will last for longer.

in a storm, an item that is put up without pro-
per protection may be damaged. That is why,
in extreme weather conditions, we recom-
mend that you dismantle the item and store it
in a sheltered area.
Mounting (Fig. A)
The item must be assembled flat against a fence,
balcony rail or another stable support.
You should insure that the item does not protrude
more than 5cm above the support, as the item
could snap off in windy conditions.
Use the supplied cable ties to secure the item.
The cable ties should each be attached at the
level of the twine and should go round one or
two slats as well as the fence or balcony rail.
• Style A/B: Every 25cm across affix a cable
tie. Affix 3 cable ties at regular intervals verti-
cally.
• Style C: Every 25cm across affix a cable tie.
Affix 4 cable ties at regular intervals verti-
cally.
If you have chosen a place for the item that is
exceptionally windy use a greater number of
cable ties if necessary.
Making the item shorter
The item can be shortened either in height or
width using a pair of scissors or a sharp knife.
The synthetic slats are tied together with strong
twine 10cm apart. This can be cut very simply.
If you want to shorten the width of the item give
yourself approx. 2-3 slats greater leeway so that
the thread is not cut too short.
Carefully remove the other slats and knot togeth-
er the remaining ends of the thread.
