6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Manual watering is
not possible using the

not being undertaken

Possible Cause
LED next to start delay is blinking red 3x:
battery is very low.
Tap is turned off.
Controller is not connected.
Program entry / modification during or
just before the start pulse.
Valve was opened manually previously.
Tap is turned off.
Controller is not connected.
LED next to start delay is blinking red 3x:
battery is very low.
Minimum pressure of 0.5 bar not available.
LED lights up orange.
Minimum quantity of water drawn is less
than 20 l/h.
Valve soiled.
Water flow < 30 l/h and water pressure
> 8 bar.
Remedy
v Insert a new (alkaline) battery.
v Turn the tap on.
v Mount the controller on housing.
v Make program entry / modification
outside the programmed start times.
v Avoid possible program overlaps.
v Turn the tap on.
v Mount the controller on housing.
v Insert a new (alkaline) battery.
v Ensure a pressure of at least 0.5 bar.
v Pay careful attention to the blue and
grey settings and keep them com-
pletely separate.
v Connect more drip heads.
v Flush in the opposite direction to
the normal flow direction.
v Reduce the water pressure.
