Using the Slide Hammer
1. Remove the transport safety pin from the slide hammer.
Attention! From now the hammer will slide off the tube.
2. For removing tiles from the floor, first remove one tile resp. a
part of the tile by drilling and lifting up.
3. Attach the blade of the slide hammer to the second tile and
pull the handle all the way out. Roughly push the handle back
into the tube in order to lift up the tile. Repeat this step until all
construction-adhesive residues are removed from the floor.
Using as Scraper
1. Insert the transport safety pin into the slide hammer. Now the slide hammer
can be used as scraper in order to remove thick layers of wallpaper or plaster
from the wall.
2. Hold the slide hammer firmly with both hands and slide the blade over the
residues to be removed.
Changing the Blade
1. Loosen both cross slot screw and remove the dull blade.
2. Insert a new blade and fix the blade with the holder. Replacement blades can
be ordered from Westfalia under the article no. 82 84 63.
Cleaning and Storing
 Clean the slide hammer with a cloth or a brush. Do not use aggressive
chemicals.
 Store the slide hammer with the transport safety pin inserted in order to avoid
injuries. Store the slide hammer in a dry place. Protect it from dust and dirt.
