To ensure your Kinetico combination system continues to operate at peak
performance, follow the procedures outlined in the "Maintaining Your System"
section of this owner's manual.
The concentration of chlorine/chloramine in a water supply will determine the
life of the carbon/Chloraban in combination systems. You will have to replace
the carbon/Chloraban in your system when you begin to notice the return of a
chlorine/chloramine odor in your water. Expect to replace the carbon/Chloraban
every few years as a general rule, although it may last longer if your water supply
does not contain high levels of chlorine/chloramine.
Because Kinetico's filtration media is automatically cleaned during regeneration, it
requires no additional maintenance.
