Oil Level Inspection / Oil Change

Oil Level Inspection:
 If the engine is cold, please warm up the engine several minutes at idle speed.
 Stop the engine and wait for several minutes to allow the oil to settle.
 Set the scooter upright and check the engine oil level through the oil level inspection window ○,
remove the dipstick ○,
should between the upper ○,
 Please top up the oil to the upper mark with the same oil when it is at the lower level.
 Please check the oil level every 1,000km.
WARNING:
• Revving the engine before the oil reaches every part can cause engine seizure.
NOTE :
• Oil level will not be correct when checking the oil level with the scooter parked on an unleveled ground
or immediately after the engine stopped.
Oil Change:
 The oil change should be done by an authorized SYM dealer.
 The genuine "SYMOIL" are designed and recommended for your scooter.
 Please choose oil grade that is equal to (or greater than) SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40, API SG. SYM is not
responsible for any damage caused by improper oil.
 The first oil change for the scooter is in the first 1,000km, change oil in every 5,000km afterwards.
 Check the crank case blow- by drain hose, drain it if needed.
 Total oil capacity: 1.4L (Joymax Z 250/300), 1.0L (Joymax Z 125).
 Periodic maintenance: 1.2L (Joymax Z 250/300), 0.8L (Joymax 125).
