BlackBerry™ Internet Edition is a mobile email solution that
includes the BlackBerry handheld, Docking Cradle, BlackBerry
Desktop Software, and flat-rate airtime on the national wireless
network.
With BlackBerry, you not only receive your email in a reliable
manner, but you can also respond to email or initiate your own
messages at any time, to any Internet address.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software can synchronize your contacts,
appointments, and tasks between your PC and the handheld. You
can also backup any important information from the handheld to
your PC, and load new applications to the handheld, using a
convenient Windows interface.
This guide explains how to get started with the handheld, and
provides tips for composing messages quickly and easily. Detailed
descriptions of and instructions for the handheld's operational
functions are included, as well as answers to many frequently
asked questions. The 'BlackBerry Desktop Software' chapter
explains how to install the software from the enclosed CD, connect
the handheld to your PC, and use the tools for PIM synchronization
