MAINTENANCE

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before attempting to perform inspection or
maintenance.
CAUTION:
To reduce the contact to the dust,
use goggles and dust mask when emptying the
tank or cleaning the lter.
NOTICE:
Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner,
alcohol or the like. Discoloration, deformation or
cracks may result.

Emptying the tank
WARNING:
Always make sure that the
cleaner is switched off and the battery cartridge
is removed before emptying the tank. F ailure to d o
so ma y c ause an ele c tri c s h o c k an d serious personal
injury.
CAUTION:
Do not apply a great impact on
the tank. A great impa c t ma y c ause d e f ormation an d
d amage to t h e parts.
CAUTION:
Empty the tank at least once a day
although this depends on picked-up dust volume
in the tank. O r, t h e su c tion f or c e w ill w eaken an d t h e
motor ma y be broken.
CAUTION:
Do not grab the hook when empty-
ing the tank. G rabbing t h e h ook ma y c ause t h e h ook
to break.
U n h ook an d li f t up t h e tank c o v er.
Shake off the dust from the HEPA filter and then dis-
pose o f t h e d ust f rom t h e tank.

Cleaning of HEPA lter
NOTICE:
Do not rub or scratch the HEPA lter
with hard objects such as a brush and a paddle.
Clogged HEPA filter cause poor suction performance.
Clean out the filter from time to time.

To remove the HEPA filter, unlock and remove the
tank c o v er.
2.
Turn the HEPA filter counterclockwise and pull out
o f t h e tank c o v er.

To remove dust adhering to the HEPA filter, shake
t h e f rame bottom q ui c kl y se v eral times.
Occasionally wash the HEPA filter in water, rinse and
d r y t h oroug h l y in t h e s h a d e be f ore use. Ne v er w as h t h e
filter in a washing machine.

To install the HEPA filter, place and twist it clock-
wise so that the securing lips are firmly locked in the
tank c o v er.

NOTE: The filter wear out in course of time. It is rec-
ommen d e d to h a v e some spares f or t h em.
Installing pre lter set
Optional accessory

2.
Set the damper on the HEPA filter and cover it
with the prefilter. Be sure to hook the rubber band of the
prefilter onto the lip of the HEPA filter.
